Mabamba is a Ramsar-listed wetland on the north edge of Lake Victoria. It is 16,500ha. The most popular bird among over 200 species of wild birds identified in the wetland is the shoebill known as ‘the motionless bird’. You will canoe while watching the birds in the wetland with thick papyiri.
Afternoon: Drive to Entebbe Botanical Garden, Bird Watching (2-3 hours)
There are many big trees and an open ground in this botanical garden. That makes it a suitable place for bird watching. You can also find waterfowls at the Lake Victoria lakeside.
