Day 1
Drive from Entebbe International Airport to Kampala (1 hour)
Our driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport and take you to Kampala. That drive takes 1 hour or more depending on the traffic jam. Our staff will receive you in Kampala and explain the tour arrangement to you.

Day 2
Morning: Drive to Mabamba Wetland (2 hours), Bird Watching (2-3 hours)
Mabamba is a Ramsar-listed wetland on the north edge of Lake Victoria. It is 16,500ha. The most popular bird among over 200 species of wild birds identified in the wetland is the shoebill also known as ‘the motionless bird’. You will ride a canoe while watching the birds in the wetland with thick papyiri.
Afternoon: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park (5 hours)
Lake Mburo National Park is the nearest park from Kampala and is formed by a lake, marshy area, savanna and forest. Zebras, impalas, elands and topis can be viewed in this park and a total of 315 bird species have been recorded.

Day 3
Morning: Horseback Safari (2 hours)
This horseback safari will offer you a unique experience to feel closer to the wildlife.
Afternoon: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kichwamba (3 hours)
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest park in Uganda. There are a total of 95 species of mammals and 547 species of birds. The weather is not as cold as other parks in Uganda since it is at an altitude of 900m. Kichwamba is located on a highland along the West Rift Valley and commands the magnificent view of the vast expanse of savanna that spreads to the west up to the Congo border.

Day 4
Morning: Chimpanzee Tracking at Kyambura Gorge (3-4 hours), Drive to Mweya (1 hour)
We will trek in this Kyambura Gorge to view the chimpanzees. The chimpanzee population here is only 14 because the location is isolated from other forests. Sometimes they come to the savanna.
Afternoon: Boat Trip along Kazinga Channel (2 hours)
Kazinga channel drains the stream from the glacier of the Rwenzori Mountains to Lake Edward. Its ecosystem is the best habitat for hippos and crocodiles as well as waterfowls including pelicans, storks, herons, kingfishers and more. Sometimes elephants and antelope species meet at the banks.
Night: Night Game Drive (2-3 hours)
The night game drive gives you the chance to observe veiled animal behavior in the dark. You might see zebras and antelopes and possibly a pride of lions and leopards.

Day 5
Morning : Game drive in the savanna of Mweya (3-4 hours) then Drive to Ibanda Village at the foot of Mt. Rwenzori
We will leave the hotel early in the morning and go for a game drive with an experienced park guide through the extensive savanna. The wildlife at the foot of Rwenzori Mountains is amazing.
Afternoon: Cooking Experience of the Local Food in a village at the foot of Mt. Rwenzori
You will have a cooking experience of the local food including Kalo which is the staple food of the Konjo people. Kalo, Obundu in Konjo language, is made from millet. The millet is ground with a stone mill, then the flour is added to boiling water and mingled until it forms a sticky lump.

Day 6
Morning: Experience of traditional brewing
Waragi is Ugandan local liquor made from bananas. The bananas are rolled into banana leaves and left to ripen underground. After 5 days, they are removed, peeled and their juice is squeezed into a big pot. Water is added, they are squeezed again, and then millet flour is added and the mixture is returned underground. After 2 days it ferments and then it is distilled. (You can also choose to travel by air)

Day 7
All day: Drive to Jinja (2 hours), Rafting in Nile River
This white-water rafting starts at the 5km lower point from the headwaters and goes 31km downstream. It is said to be one of the toughest in the world and participants need to sign a liability waiver. Even though an experienced guide and rescue team will accompany you, the boat still overturns frequently.

Day 8
Morning : Free
In the last morning of the trip, the driver will take you to any place you would like to visit in Kampala.
Afternoon : Drive to Entebbe International Airport (1 hour)
You should leave Kampala more than 3 and half hours before the flight to avoid delays caused by traffic jams on the way to the airport.
