Murchison Falls National Park covers 3877km2, that makes it the largest park in Uganda. The Nile River runs through the center of the park from east to west and flows into Lake Albert. The wildlife is abundant in this park and a total of 76 species of mammals and 450 species of birds have been recorded. It has a hotter climate than other parks because the altitude is as low as 600-700m.
Afternoon: Drive to the top of Murchison Falls (1 hour) and Trekking
We have a short trekking on top of Murchison Falls. At this point of the Nile River, it narrows only 6m wide, which is the narrowest, falls 40m to the bottom then continues its journey to the Mediterranean Sea through Sudan and Egypt. You will realize the power of nature from the roaring sound and splash of the falls.
Night: Night Game Drive at the savanna in the northern coast (2-3 hours)
The night game drive gives you a chance to observe veiled animal behavior in the dark. You might track down a pride of lions and leopards as well.

The Nile River that Murchison falls leads to has hippos, crocodiles and many waterfowls. In this boat trip, you have the opportunity to watch those animals as well as elephants and giraffes enjoying the water at the riverbanks in deep greenery.
