Day 1
From Entebbe International Airport to Kampala (1 hour)
Our driver guide will take you up at the airport and take you to Kampala. It takes 1 hour or more depending on the traffic jam. When you arrive in Kampala, our staff will receive you and explain the whole tour arrangement.

Day 2
Morning : Drive to Lake Mburo National Park (5 hours)
Lake Mburo National Park is the nearest park from Kampala. It is formed by a lake, marshy area, savanna and forest. Some animals like zebras, impalas, elands and topis are only found in this park. As for birds, a total of 315 species has been recorded here.
Afternoon : Boat Trip (2 hours)
Lake Mburo is known for its abundance of pied kingfishers and African fish eagles. You can watch those rare birds from the boat as well as other animals including hippopotamus, crocodiles and buffaloes around the lake. Horse riding safari is optional.

Day 3
Morning : Game Drive at the Savanna (2-3 hours)
We have a game drive in the bushy savanna. In Uganda, zebras, impalas, topis and some other wildlife are found only in this park. There are also carnivorous animals like lions and leopards although they are not many.
Afternoon : Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Buhoma (5-6 hours)
To most tourists the main attraction in Uganda is to see mountain gorillas in this Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is one of the smallest national parks in Uganda but is registered as a world heritage site. Apart from gorillas, 345 species of birds have been recorded in this rich ecosystem. The altitude of Buhoma is 1500m and Ruhijah 2000m. You should prepare some warm clothes because it becomes cold in the morning and evening.

Day 4
All day : Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (2-10 hours)
The highlight of this tour is gorilla tracking. Mountain gorillas are endangered with only 700 surviving in only two forests in the entire world. Half of those gorillas live in Bwindi Forest. We trek in the jungle for 2 to 10 hours until we find the gorillas. The experience is breathtaking.

Day 5
Morning : Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Mweya (5 hours)
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest national park in Uganda. It is the habitat for 95 species of mammals, 547 species of birds. The weather is not as cold as other parks because of the altitude of 900m. On the way to Mweya, look out for the famous tree-climbing lions which can be seen hovering on the branches in Ishasha.

You can rest at the hotel.
Night : Night Game Drive in the Mweya savanna (2-3 hours)
The night game drive gives you the chance to observe veiled animal behavior in the dark. You might track down a pride of lions and leopards as well.

Day 6
Morning : Game drive in the savanna of Mweya (3-4 hours)
We will leave the hotel early in the morning and go for a game drive with an experienced park guide through the extensive savanna. The wildlife at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains is amazing.
Afternoon : Boat Trip along Kazinga Channel (2 hours)
Kazinga channel drains the stream from the glacier of the Rwenzori Mountains to Lake Edward. Its ecosystem is the best habitat for hippos and crocodiles as well as waterfowls including pelicans, storks, herons, kingfishers and more. Also sometimes antelope species and elephants meet at the bank.
Evening : Drive to Fort Portal (2 hours
Fort portal is at an altitude of 1600m. It is very cold in the morning and evening.

Day 7
Morning : Drive to Kibale National Park (1 hour), Chimpanzee Tracking (3-4 hours)
Kibale Forest is one of the largest forests in Uganda and it is home to over 1000 chimpanzees and other 13 species of primates. Chimpanzee tracking starts at 8am and takes 3 to 4 hours. It will be a fascinating experience to spend with our closest relatives.

Day 8
Morning : Free
In the last morning of the trip, the driver will take you to any place you would love to visit in Kampala.
Afternoon : Drive to Entebbe International Airport (1 hour)
Clients are advised to leave Kampala more than 3 and a half hours before the flight to avoid any delays as a result of traffic jams.
